Farmington Fresh, located at the Stockton Metropolitan
Airport, represents an important new link in the ability
of California growers, packers, and shippers to improve
the logistics of moving their products to valuable markets.
Our facilities permit consolidation and staging of large
volumes of perishable food products for dedicated airfreight
shipments by charter carriers. The result is a significant
improvement in the handling of these highly perishable
products
In the past, local cherries, asparagus, apples, pears
and other crops had to be shipped to international destinations
from airports in San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose
in order to obtain cargo space on planes bound for the
Pacific Rim and other destinations. Now this can be
handled locally.
Farmington Fresh is the only air cargo facility in the
world that is capable of staging an entire load for
a 747 type aircraft in a refrigerated warehouse and
positions the aircraft at the warehouse door for loading.
This insures that the cold chain is never broken.
Farmington Fresh is also a receiver for inbound shipments
of perishables including flowers, seafood, and fruits
and vegetables. Our facility can also handle shipments
of dry freight.
Recently, the addition of our updated and technologically
advanced cherry line allows us to cleanly and gently
clean, sort and process cherries at phenomenal speeds.

Our improved and expanded apple line permits us to not
only clean and sort the freshest apples from our orchards,
but carries our apples directly to processing our Sweet
Apple Bites line of fresh sliced apples. For
